Loan Originator

We are always seeking experienced loan originators with strong marketing, communication, and analysis skills to join our team and assist loan applicants in securing private-money financing for their real estate investments. We specialize in providing mortgage loans for non-owner-occupied investment properties. We offer private hard money, bridge loans, commercial and long-term rental financing. The role of the Loan Originator will be to learn all aspects of our business and culture and use that knowledge to provide our customers the best loan products and financial services to meet their individual needs.

We are seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic professionals capable of handling multiple accounts while treating each customer as if they are our only customer. Follow up skills and daily organization is paramount to success in this role. The right candidate will promote and provide business development,
origination of loans, relationship management with customers and strategic partners.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify and maintain relationships with multiple lender conduits.

• Market and promote the company’s products and services accurately and effectively to potential business sources.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and opportunities and inform colleagues and senior management.

• Source business via in-person & virtual meetings with realtors, financial planners, and other partners.

• Develop clientele base via seminars, presentations, and meet-ups, lunch & learns and networking events.

• Review new leads daily and contact them to earn their business.

• Daily pipeline management (loan application to funding process) to ensure that the loan process goes smoothly for all parties involved.

• Ability to network on nights and weekends when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 2+ years of loan originator experience.

• Experience in private lending / DSCR financing is preferred.

• High character.

• Experience using a customer relationship manager (CRM)

• Great written and verbal communications skills.

• Highly detail oriented with an ability to review data, catch, and remedy data integrity issues.

• Great listening, follow-up and follow through skills.

• High achievers that are motivated by goals.

• Self-starter able to generate consistent originations from volume of client conversations and providing innovative solutions that traditional banks don’t offer.

• Strong analytical skills and thrives in a data rich environment, skilled in Excel.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Sales Manager

We are looking for experienced sales managers with great communication and analysis skills to join our team and oversee loan production. The main function of this position is to proactively solicit new real estate investor mortgage clients, while developing and cultivating a strong business network of referrals. In addition, this individual will be tasked with motivating and encouraging the sales team to ensure quotas are met, providing DSCR and commercial loan training, reviewing and analyzing sales and operational reporting, providing loan level support and holding the sales force accountable. 

It is the responsibility of the Sales Manager to analyze a borrower’s financial and credit data to determine creditworthiness and the probability of financial security in repayment efforts. Additional responsibilities will consist of but not be limited to assisting borrowers through the process of buying or refinancing investment properties. The person assuming the role of Producing Sales Manager role at Trius Lending Partners will also be charged with taking loan applications, collecting all required borrower documentation for underwriting, making detailed notes and updating loan statuses in the companies dedicated customer relationship manager (CRM) for their own personal production and ensuring this is done by all sales team members.

The ideal candidates will be highly motivated, enthusiastic professionals capable of handling multiple accounts and a large pipeline of prospects and active customers. Follow up skills and daily organization is paramount to success in this role. The right candidate will promote and provide business development, origination of loans, relationship management with customers, team members and strategic partners. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and maintain relationships with multiple lender conduits. 
  • Market and promote the company’s products and services accurately and effectively to potential business sources.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and opportunities and inform colleagues and senior management.
  • Source business via in-person & virtual meetings with realtors, financial planners, and other partners.
  • Meet with mortgage loan borrowers on the phone and in person, advising and guiding them throughout the entire loan process.
  • Assist sales team with the origination of new loans. 
  • Provide DSCR and Commercial loan expertise to current and new sales team members.
  • Coach and develop current and new sales talent. 
  • Develop clientele base via seminars, presentations, and meet-ups, lunch & learns and networking events.
  • Review new leads daily and contact them to earn their business.
  • Daily pipeline management (loan application to funding process) to ensure that the loan process goes smoothly for all parties involved.
  • Ability to network on nights and weekends when necessary.
  • Provide continued assistance to the borrower during and after the application process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2+ years of loan originator experience. 
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in DSCR and commercial financing. 
  • High character.
  • Experience using a customer relationship manager (CRM)
  • Great written and verbal communications skills.
  • Highly detail oriented with an ability to review data, catch, and remedy data integrity issues.
  • Great listening, follow-up and follow through skills.
  • High achievers that are motivated by goals.

BENEFITS | COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary of $45,000 -$50,000
  • Override on sales team loan originators.
  • Personal production and override compensation plan allows top performers to earn $150+ in year one.

TIME REQUIREMENTS:

  • Full-time employees are required to work a minimum of 40 hours per work week. 
  • Monday through Friday 9:00am -5pm EST. 
  • Additional hours may be required as requested by management.
